The 237th anniversary of America's momentous 1781 Revolutionary War victory at Yorktown will be celebrated during the weekend with hands-on military experiences, artillery firings and interpretive programs.

Discover the story of the American Revolution through an introductory film and expansive gallery exhibits with immersive settings, including "The Siege of Yorktown" experiential theater with special effects. Outdoors, interact with historical interpreters in a re-created Continental Army encampment and Revolution-era farm.

In conjunction with the "Blast from the Past" special exhibition, visitors can enjoy enjoy "A Weekend of Revolutionary Noise" with re-enactor encampments.

Commemorative events will take place on October 19 at Yorktown Battlefield and in Historic Yorktown.
